Wake up to the ocean. Walk to the sand. Let the rest of the trip take care of itself.
Hospitality is my passion. I started working at Walt Disney World in 1997, and I spent years learning what makes a guest feel truly looked after: the small details, the quick answers, the feeling that someone thought about you before you arrived.
In 2020 I took that into short-term rentals, and I’ve been hosting ever since. Sunny Florida Rentals is the result. It’s a small collection of beachfront stays in Daytona Beach, run the way I’d want a place run if my own family were checking in.
Safe and clean come first. Every stay starts with a home that’s been reset properly, with fresh linens, a tidy kitchen, and nothing left to chance. You shouldn’t have to wonder about either one, so we don’t ask you to.
Our homes are in beachfront buildings in Daytona Beach. They’re compact, comfortable, and sleep one to four guests. Every listing shows exactly what you’ll see from the window, so you know before you book. They’re a good fit for couples, solo travelers, and small families who want the beach right outside the door, not a resort schedule.
If something isn’t right, tell me. I’d rather fix it fast than have you quietly put up with it.
The beach. Daytona’s wide, hard-packed sand is famous for a reason. Bring a chair, a book, and nowhere to be.
Main Street Pier and the Boardwalk. An easy evening walk with ocean views, rides, snacks, and a lot of people-watching.
Daytona International Speedway. Race fans already know. Everyone else might be surprised how much fun a visit is.
Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. A short drive south for a climb with a big view, and a quieter side of the coast.
Take a look at the homes, pick the dates that work, and book right here. When you book direct, you’re booking with the person who runs the place.
